Alex Boyd - Senior Physiotherapist

Alex moved to the Sunshine Coast in April 2023 from Papamoa, New Zealand. He has over 15 years of experience and previously owned his own clinic in NZ for the past 8 years. Over the past 2 years on the Queensland Coast he noticed that there was a significant portion of the population unable to access physiotherapy services due to costs, mobility, surgery or a lack of home support. This service was setup to help people under Govt funded programmes - all you need is a GP referral.

Alex originally decided to be a physiotherapist back in 2006 when he was backpacking through Thailand and attended a Buddhist meditation retreat. Alex has a hands-on approach and has lots of experience treating acute and chronic injuries. He has worked in several retirement villages and aged care facilities providing rehabilitation and hydrotherapy.

Alex is a well travelled individual and competitive ultra-marathon ocean swimmer. He has two young children named Amber and Avery.
